What is the BEAP program?

The BEAP program allows Missouri Local Public Agencies (LPA’s) to request engineering assistance on non-state structures that are located on a public roadway that carries vehicular traffic.

Many LPA’s have neither the funds, nor the engineering expertise necessary to conduct effective bridge evaluations or determine bridge maintenance and repair priorities that may extend the service life of their structures. The program requires no match from the LPA entity (County, City, Road District).
