Lafayette, Morgan, Saline, Pettis and Johnson Counties now have HHW drop off semi permanent containers in place. These will be by appointment only. And will be in operation April to October. Times will vary.

Items Not Accepted: NO LATEX PAINT, (except for Pettis County) latex paint is a non hazardous waste and can be dried out. No double A, C or D size batteries. Ammunition, Asbestos, Commercial Waste, BBQ Propane Cylinders, Explosives, Medical/Bio- Waste Needles, Smoke Detectors,Kerosene & Fuel Oils, Lead, Lighter Fluid, Tires Yard Waste Mercury, Infectious or biological wastes (no needles or diabetic supplies), Radioactive Waste, Unknown Substances, Appliances,Electronics,Glass. Motor Oil-O’Reilly’s in Odessa, Higginsville, and Marshall will take motor oil and oil filters so the Odessa, and Marshall containers will not accept it.
